My mum took our dog Diesel to the Traralgon Vet Centre because he ate some poison on their farm. The staff were excellent, very professional and looked after Diesel very well. Great customer service. Highly recommend
I would like to thank Dr John & Haley and all at traralgon vet centre , I rushed my cat Louie to the clinic on Sunday evening 30/9 after ringing the after hours number I had never been to this vets before , the prompt care and attention my cat got was A1 , he was a very very sick cat his whole bladder was crystallized no longer passing urine and in a lot of pain , John gave medical attention straight away , my baby was not thought to make it due to how bad he was , but John and all at the clinic did not give up on him , the up to date medical equipment blood machines , x Ray and scan machines and the A1 knowledge they have saved him , they gave me updates on Louie twice daily , I was finally able to bring Louie home on Friday 5/10 in perfect health which would not have been possible without the care he received,, I cannot thank all at the center enough for Wat they done for Louie and the fee I was charged was next to nothing for the treatment Louie received
Do not recommend for people on low income/disability or who have trouble with verbal skills around people. I brought my cat in to be seen for some stiffness and soreness and was immediately put off by the vet's attitude. I wanted to bring him in sooner but they will not see any pets whos bill cannot be paid the same day or who dont go through vetpay. When they first told me to apply for vetpay yesterday I looked them up and was shocked that they would refer people on a low income already to a loan service that charges 18.41% interest, plus $49 per plus $2.50 per repayment which ends up costing nearly double the original invoice once you pay all the fees and interest. I might not have the best verbal skills in person but I am not an idiot and do not like being spoken to like an idiot. The same vet (tall woman) who treated my cats absyss with an injection last year which ultimately turned out to do nothing and he ended up needing surgery days later. No apology no nothing. Just extra days of suffering for my cat and $110 in the bin. This time she refused to give him antibiotics altogether and wouldnt put anything i writing for me to take with me. Whenever I asked a question I just got a rude response like "are you a vet?" or "whenever I get to it". she handled my cat pretty roughly when taking his temperature to the point where he screeched. I don't understand why they cant just be polite to people regardless of their income or what questions they might have. Its like a doctor having a go at you for asking questions about a process that makes you nervouise/scared.If you are on the spectrum like me, have bad anxiety or anything else that makes it hard to advocate for yourself especially in difficult situations I really recommend bringing an advocate with you if you use these guys at all.I keep giving them the benefit of the doubt but this is it. I cant trust someone with a vulnerable animal that cant speak for themsleves who cant even stay professional and not get nasty during a 5 minute consult. Plus I dont understand why they refuse to let people organise paymet plans or pay the invoice later in the week...especially someone who has a history of always paying when they say theyll pay. The receptionist yesterday told me its because some people need to be chased up for money. I don't see why they have to punish everyone else instead of organising centrepay or even recommending NILS to people on a low income.
Great people to deal with and very caring for your pet and not a rip off
